Peer to Peer File sharing Warning for all Customers

For all Royell Customers who use Peer to Peer (P2P) file sharing, be warned. In recent news you may have heard about the 7000+ Internet users that are being sued nationwide for file sharing  copyrighted music files across the Internet. This is something that is being brought to our attention and we are passing it on to you. You are responsible for what is on your computer and it is highly recommended that you take action to protect yourself from possible legal proceedings. We recommend that all users uninstall these programs and remove any files that could be considered as copyrighted programs/software/music.

Here is a list of the most popular File Sharing Programs, but does not include them all:

  • Kazaa
  • iMesh
  • BearShare
  • Morpheus
  • Limewire
  • Grokster

If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to call our office at 1-(217)965-3699
