Lenten fish dinners will begin Friday Feb 19, 2010 serving 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the Virden American Legion Hall, 118 S. Dye, 965-4114. The Virden American Legion and Sons of the American Legion will be sponsoring the event.
     The dinner menu includes a choice of fish ("all-you-can-eat" is for the fish only), shrimp or chicken nuggets. Included with the dinner is a choice of two of the following; potato salad, cole slaw, French fries or baked beans. Drinks included are coffee, tea or soda.
     Adult dinner price is $8.00 and children (5 - 12 years old) are $4.00.  If not ordering a dinner, fish sandwiches will be available for $4.00.  Also, side-orders and soda (separate from the dinner) will be $1.00 each. Carry-outs will be available. The fish dinners will continue through Good Friday Apr 2, 2010.
     Proceeds will go towards Legion building projects and towards donations to community activities/organizations. (Food pantry, North Mac Ministerial Assoc, scholarships, etc.)
