Dr. Todd, Eugena, Ava, Zorah & Gea's Bucs page!
In case you haven't guessed by now, one of our (Dr. Todd & Eugena) main interests is Tampa Bay Buccaneers football. Of course we also tend to be very passionate about chiropractic, acupuncture, and family (our 4 year old Ava, our 2 year old Zorah and our new baby girl Aegea)!
Yes, Ava Vivianna was born on 9-23-02, becoming one of the world's newest Bucs fans. In fact she spent her first night sitting on daddy's lap while the Bucs whooped the St. Louis Rams by a score of 26 to 14 on Monday Night Football.
Then at the tender age of just six days, Ava suited up in her very own Bucs jersey for the first time. As luck would have it the Bucs spanked the Bengals 35 to 7 that day! (Yes, I know.....no big deal here you must be thinking. Every team took the lowly 2002 Bengals to the woodshed, right?!? Ha ha!)
Of course for Halloween, Ava dressed up as the youngest ever Bucs cheerleader. Mom worked very hard making the pom-poms, the skirt, and the headband. Ava's costume was a big hit, thus earning lots of goodies for Mom and Dad!
Unless you emerged from a storm cellar sometime in the past half-decade, you should know by now that the Bucs rode their 2002 good luck charm, Ava, to the best record in franchise history (15 - 4), the #2 seed in the NFC playoffs, a first round playoff bye, their first 2 cold weather wins in franchise history, their first road playoff win in franchise history, their first conference championship win ever, their first ever trip to a SuperBowl, and their first SuperBowl victory ever (as they totally dismembered the Chokeland Faiders on January 26, 2003!
Unfortunately the Bucs stunk up the joint during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
But then, on 1-8-05,our second daughter, Zorah Elleanna was born. Since then, the Bucs have returned to their winning ways! On 1-1-06 they won the NFC South Division title for the first time since their SuperBowl winning 2002 season!
